Saudi Arabia Armed Forces
Aden - Arab Today

The Yemeni Presidency yesterday mourned the martyrdom of the UAE Armed Forces serviceman, Sultan Mohammed Ali Al Ketbi, and of an officer of the Saudi Arabia Armed Forces, Colonel Abdullah bin Mohammed Alsahyan, during the course of their participation in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's Operation Restoring Hope to support the legitimate government in Yemen.

In a statement, the Yemeni Presidency hailed the acts of heroism and brotherhood represented by the Arab Coalition, especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, to support Yemen and its legitimate government to restore the country's institutions, liberating them from the control of coup militia and restoring a sense of security and stability in the country.

It also praised the two martyrs' acts of heroism, along with other officers and soldiers of the Arab Coalition, National Army and popular resistance, in their fight against coup militias, which involved the country in a war that killed and displaced thousands of Yemenis to the advantage of external agendas.

The statement also emphasised that the Yemeni people will not forget such sacrifices made by brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in support of the Yemenis and the country's legitimacy, praying to Allah Almighty to grant their souls rest in peace in Paradise and to grant patience and solace to their families.
