Arab coalition confirms attack on Emirati vessel off Yemen coast
Aden - Arab Today

The Yemeni government condemned the shelling of the UAE civilian vessel (SWIFT) by the militias of Houthis and ousted president Ali Abdallah Saleh.

The ship used to transport medical and relief aid to injured civilians in Aden.

Civilians who were on board of the vessel were saved.

In a statement issued late Saturday, the government slammed the attack as violating all international laws as well as humanitarian and ethical principles.

The government said the attack proved that the militias pose threat to the Yemeni coasts and international security.

The attack uncovered that the militias are orchestrating terror operations against international ships at Mandab strait, the government said.
