Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Malla.
Manama - Arab Today

Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Malla sent a cable of condolences to his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Ali Abdel A’al on the victims of the terrorist armed suicide attack that targeted a mosque in Al-Rawdhah neighbourhood, in Al-Arish, North Sinai, killing and injuring hundreds of people.

Al Malla strongly condemned the mosque and killing the worshippers, describing the act as brutal and in breach with all human values, Islamic precepts and international covenants. He added that the perpetrators are inhumane and no different from war criminals. He affirmed support of the Representatives Council to Egypt in all measures and security procedures taken by the Egyptian authorities to handle such painful incidents. He stressed strong fraternal and deep-rooted historic relations between both countries and peoples, noting that such terrorist acts will only boost Egypt’s strength and determination to confront terrorism, root it out and continue the march of development and stability. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the martyrs in eternal peace and bless their families with patience and fortitude, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Al Malla sent a similar cable to Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Suha Ibrahim Refa’at Al Far.
