King Salman bin Abdel Aziz
Riyadh - Arab Today

King Salman bin Abdel Aziz of Saudi Aabia sent a cable of condolences on Monday to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi over the victims of Sunday's bombing which occurred inside the Boutrosiya Church next to St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Abbasiya.

In his cable, the Saudi Monarch condemned the cowardly bombing, saying the kingdom is standing shoulder to shoulder with Egypt and its people against those who seek to destabilize the country's security and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Nayef and Deputy Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman also sent similar cables to president Sisi.

The terrorist attack left 25 people dead and 49 others wounded.
