Amman - Arab Today

The Palestinian National Council (PNC) condemned on Thursday choosing Israel to preside over the legal committee of the United Nations.

In a press release, the PNC head Salim Zanoun called on the international community not to resort to double standards concerning Israel.

Meanwhile, the council urged international and regional parliamentary unions, including the Inter-Parliamentary Union, to take required measures against the Knesset after it issued a terrorism law that aims to impose unjust sanctions against those who protect their lands and seek to attain their freedom and independence.
