Parliament condemns Boutrosiya Church attack

The House of Representatives under speaker Ali Abdel Aal has condemned Sunday's terrorist attack at the Boutrosiya Church adjacent to the St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Cairo's Abbasiya disrtrict.
In a statement, the speaker asserted such terrorist acts runs counter to all divine religions, saying the terrorist attack coincided with Muslims celebrations marking the Prophet Muhammed Birthday.
He pointed out that such terrorist attacks would only strengthen the resolve of the Egyptians on uprooting terrorism.
At least 25 people were killed and 49 more injured in the blast which was widely condemned.
