Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani condemned the militant attack on a police training center in the city of Quetta in Pakistani Balochistan province, which claimed dozens of lives and injured many more.

    The GCC chief stressed that this terrorist crime shows the need for concerted international efforts to combat terrorist organizations wherever they exist, affirming the GCC states' support for Pakistan in all the security measures it takes to maintain its security.

    He also expressed condolences to the government and people of Pakistan as well as the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
