Cairo University President condemns church blast

President of Cairo University Dr Gaber Nassar on Sunday condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Boutroseya Church in Abbassiya leaving many people dead and injured.

In a released statement, he added that another terrorist blast targeted a mosque on Friday in Giza and today a blast targets a church. The message of terrorism is clear that everybody is targeted, he pointed out.

The whole homeland and its security and stability are targeted, he noted, adding that there is no difference between Muslims and Christians as all are targeted by terrorism.

He asserted that Egypt is much stronger than those mean and cowardly terrorists who adopted killing and treason as a lifestyle.

He underlined the necessity of an all-out confrontation against terrorism through drying out the sources of terrorism and extremism and stopping their funding.
