Manama - Arab Today

Bahrain has strongly condemned the launch by the terrorist coup militias in Yemen of a ballistic missile that targeted the Saudi capital Riyadh.
The cowardly attack confirms Iran’s negative and dangerous role in supporting the coup militias, which undermines efforts to reach a peaceful solution, prolongs the crisis and confirms that Tehran insists on its hostile practices by providing the Houthi terrorist group with missiles that threaten peace and security in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Bahrain affirms its full support to Saudi Arabia against all those who threaten its security, peace and stability.
Bahrain also stresses its full backing of all policies and measures taken to combat terrorism under all its manifestations and to preserve the safety and security of the region as a whole.
Bahrain reaffirms its unwavering commitment to support the legitimate government led by the Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, through participation in the Arab Coalition for the Support of Legitimacy in Yemen.
It also stresses the need to reach a comprehensive political solution to end all forms of external interference and put an end to the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people, in accordance with the Gulf initiative and its operational mechanism, the outcome of the National Dialogue and the Security Council Resolution 2216.
