Algiers - Arab Today

Spokesman for Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdel Aziz bin Ali al Sherif strongly condemned Sunday's terrorist attack on El Boutroseya Coptic Orthodox Church in Cairo's Abbasiya district that left 23 persons dead and 49 others injured.

In press statements, the spokesman deplored this cowardly attack that claimed the lives of many innocent worshippers.

This attack revealed the ugly face of terrorism, he added, extending his condolences to the Egyptian government and people over the victims of the attack.

He reiterated his country's adamant stance rejecting terrorism in all its forms.
