Al Quds mufti condemns storming al Aqsa by Israeli police vehicle

Mufti of Al Quds and Al Aqsa Mosque speaker Sheikh Mohammed Hussein on Tuesday denounced the escalation of Israeli violations at al Aqsa mosque, including storming the holy site by a police vehicle for the first time since 1967.
Besides storming the mosque, the vehicle chased employees and guards of al Aqsa, the mufti added.
Attempts to change the historic status quo at the mosque have been accelerated, specially in Ramadan when the number of Israeli assailants has soared, the mufti said in a statement.
On the other hand, Muslims are being prevented from entering the mosque during the holy fasting month, Sheikh Hussein added.
