President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has decided to establish a university to be named after King Abdallah ben Abdel Aziz and a housing district in the name of United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed in appreciation of their support for Egypt.
Addressing representatives of the Egyptian people at el Gala Theatre o Sunday, the president said Sunday: "We will not forget the stand of the late king with Egypt and its people."
He added that the UAE is a generous nation who stood beside Egypt.
