Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said Monday that Malaysia's relations with Saudi Arabia have opened up many opportunities for cooperation in core sectors such as economy and education, Bernama news agency reported Monday.

The Prime Minister said he is confident the cooperation would bring about great benefit for the two countries and their peoples.

"The Saudi Arabian government has provided much assistance to Malaysians in many areas, including visa facility, emergency relocation of students and such," he said.

The Prime Minister had made a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia beginning Friday.
