Morocco is taking part in the 24th Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT), taking place on March 14-16.

Rabat – Morocco is represented during this event by more than 20 exhibitors from tourism regional councils, travel agencies, the Moroccan National Office of Tourism (ONMT) and the national carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM).

A pavilion has been set up in this fair to promote and showcase Morocco’s cultural heritage and its tourism potential, notably hotel services and traditional arts and crafts.

During the first day of the event, the pavilion attracted thousands of visitors who discovered the unique and diverse potential of the Moroccan tourism product, enjoyed authentic dishes of Moroccan cuisine (Tagine and Couscous) and learned about other local products such as Argan oil, henna and rose water.

According to the ONMT, Morocco is considered as a great tourist destination in the promising Russian market thanks to different promotional activities, organized in 2016 in Moscow and St Petersburg.

Founded in 1994, MITT is one of the top five travel exhibitions in the world and is highly valued by the international tourism community.
