Forbes new list highlights pioneering women Rabat - Manal Wahbi The Moroccan Minister of Solidarity, Women, Family and Social Development Bassima Hakkaoui has made it in to a list of the top 30 most influential Arab women, coming 27th in a list published by Forbes Middle East magazine. Another Moroccan, al-Morabet Khadija Om el-Bashaer, took the 30th spot for her work as a general manager of the Morabet Hotels chain. Forbes Middle East's female list began this year to highlight the pioneering role Arab women play in business, leading industry roles and economic development. Saudi women won the lion's share of the family business list with 12 names, while Emirati women made up five. The news was announced in Dubai during a ceremony attended by over 300 leading Middle Eastern women.
