Beirut - Arab Today

The Lebanese General Security said on Thursday that it had succeeded in apprehending one of the most wanted terrorists in Lebanon after receiving the approval of the concerned judicial authorities and tracking the arrestees' whereabouts in a northern Lebanese city.
Jalal Mansour confessed affiliation to Shadi Al-Mawalwi and Osama Mansour (killed last year) terrorist groups. He also admitted support to Al-Nusra front in its fight against the Lebanese army. He also pleaded guilty to having kidnapped a military officer in Tripoli, trading weapons, and recruiting people to serve terrorist plots.
In further details, the arrestee is the brother of terrorist Osama Mansour, and is wanted by the Lebanese Judiciary as per more than forty arrest warrants in abstention, a death sentence, and a verdict of life imprisonment with hard labor.
