A soldier was dead in an attack by PKK in the southeastern Mardin province’s Nusaybin district, the Turkish military said early Friday.
In a statement on its website, the Turkish General Staff said that during ongoing military operations against the banned PKK Kurdish separatist group, a soldier was severely wounded and later succumbed to his wounds in hospital, Anadolu News Agency (AA) reported.
