Hanoi - Xinhua

The Vinalines Shipping, owner of Vietnam's missing Queen cargo vessel, continues searching for 22 missing sailors after the only one sailor was rescued by a British ship last Friday, reported Vietnam News Agency on Tuesday. According to the report, Vinalines plans to hire foreign ships to search for the missing sailors. As the Japan Coast Guard informed that they have no means or any plan to send searching forces to the location as required by the Vietnam Maritime Rescue Center (MRC), Vinalines have to contact with the Embassy of Vietnam in the Philippines and its agency in the Philippines to deploy a plan of hiring ships from the Philippines to look for the missing Queen vessel. The rescued sailor, Dau Ngoc Hung, is now on board the British ship M/V "London Courage" which saved him last Friday at sea, about 350 km from the missing spot. London Courage is expected to land to Singapore port on Wednesday afternoon. Vinalines Shipping's Queen cargo vessel was reported sinking on Dec. 25 on its way from Indonesia to China, carrying more than 54, 000 tons of nickel ore.
