US Official Discusses Darfur in Khartoum

Ambassador Rahma Saleh Al Ebeid, the director of the department of Human Rihgts at the Sudanese Foreign Ministry conferred on Tuesday with Michael Posner, the Assistant U.S. Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, who is visiting Sudan. Discussions at the meeting focused on the situation in Darfur and Southern Kordofan as well as issues related to the post-secession of southern Sudan. The US official arrived earlier Tuesday for a three-day visit
