US-led coalition launchs 16 airstrikes against Daesh in Syria, Iraq

The US-led coalition has carried out 16 airstrikes against Daesh targets in Syria and Iraq.
Attack, fighter, ground-attack and remotely piloted aircraft conducted seven strikes in Syria, Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve officials said, US Department of Defense website reported.
Rocket artillery and fighter and remotely piloted aircraft conducted nine strikes in Iraq, coordinated with and in support of the Iraqi government.
The strikes left a Deash tactical unit, vehicle and a command-and-control node destroyed, the website added.
