A 26-year-old man was in custody Saturday, charged with stabbing six men at a train station in Fukuoka, Japan, police said. All six of the men who were stabbed were expected to survive their wounds, Kyodo News reported. Fukuoka prefectural police allege Kimitaka Nakano of Fukuoka used a kitchen knife with a 6 1/2-inch blade in the attack. Police said Nakano, who apparently did not know any of his victims, said he "wanted to stab people." "The man had a knife in his right hand. A police officer knocked it out of his hand and subdued him," a taxi driver who saw the incident in Hakata Ward said.
