S. Korea to send emergency rescue team to quake-hit Turkey

South Korean President Lee Myung-bak offered condolences to quake-hit Turkey on Monday as the country prepared to dispatch a team of rescue workers to help search for victims of the deadly disaster. "I cannot contain my sadness at the news that a strong earthquake caused a lot of damage to people and properties," Lee said in a message to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. "On behalf of the government and the people of the Republic of Korea, I offer condolences to the victims and their families."
