Rainstorms leave 19 dead, 20 missing in south-west China

At least 19 people died and 20 were missing after torrential rain brought floods and landslides to large areas of south-western China over the weekend, dpa cited state media as saying on Monday.
Rainstorms since Saturday left 12 people dead and seven missing, and forced the evacuation of some 30,000, in the Chongqing region, the semi-official China News Service said.
Three people died and 12 were missing in neighbouring Sichuan province, and another four people died and one was missing in Shaanxi province, the agency said.
