Islamabad - QNA
At least twenty people have died in rain-related incidents, including electrocution, house roof collapses and traffic mishaps, in different cities in Pakistan. Rains wreaked havoc in most parts of Sindh, by interrupting power supply, choking the sewage system, submerging the residential areas under rain water, damaging life and property, while relief was still awaited. The Metreological Department has predicted that most parts of the country including Karachi are expected to receive more showers for the next two days. According to the MET Department, these rains may trigger flash floods in southern Punjab, upper Sindh and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Met Department warned massive rainfall may lead to flooding of rivers and streams in Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur and Sindh’s Sukkur and Larkana, Balochistan’s Zhob, Sibbi and Naseerabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kohat and Bannu
