Egypt, Australia seek promoting joint cooperation

Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr on Wednesday held talks with Australian Ambassador here Neil Hawkins on means of promoting joint cooperation.

The talks also dealt with means of expanding the scopes of Egyptian-Australian cooperation.

The Egyptian minister expounded, at the meeting, efforts made by the government in the economic and development domains. She highlighted the role of her ministry for enhancing joint cooperation. She expressed hope that Australia would contribute to development projects in Egypt.

For his part, the Australian ambassador expressed satisfaction with the role undertaken by the international cooperation ministry for promoting fruitful cooperation between the two sides. He confirmed Australia's keenness on extending all assistance for supporting development efforts in Egypt.
