Lord Ballyedmond, one of the richest men in Northern Ireland, was among four people who have died in a helicopter crash near the east coast of England, British media reported Friday. The AgustaWestland AW139 came down in a field near the village of Gillingham during thick fog late Thursday. Police said the victims had not yet been formally identified and it was not clear what caused the crash. Ballyedmond, Edward Haughey before he was created a life peer in 2004, was chairman of Norbrook, the largest privately owned pharmaceutical company in the world. He had served in both the British and Irish upper houses of parliament.
