At least 7 killed, 3 injured in Japan hotel blaze

At least seven people have been killed and three others injured in a fire Sunday morning at a hotel in the city of Fukuyama at Japan's Hiroshima Prefecture. According to Japanese news agency (Kyodo), the seven victims, three men and four women, were guests at the hotel while the three injured were a hotel employee and two female guests. The Fukuyama municipal government had found several defects in the smoke control and emergency lighting systems at the hotel during an inspection last September.
