Nine people have died in an air crash in the Moscow region, Russia's Investigative Committee said Monday.
On Friday, a single-engine Cessna 206 plane collided with a Robinson R44 helicopter above a lake west of Moscow. Both aircraft fell and sank in the lake.
"Nine people died in the crash, including two minors," said Vladimir Markin, spokesman for the committee.
Five people including two minors were onboard the plane and another four aboard the helicopter. So far eight corpses have been discovered and identified.
Rescuers are looking for the body of the last person, a male aged 22. The two aircraft have been salvaged from under the water. One pilot's fault is believed to have caused the accident.
