
Seven people were killed and two were injured in a road crash accident near Chelmno of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in north central Poland on late Saturday night. A Renault scenic brand vehicle fell of the road on a curve due to overspeeding and bumped sideways, and crashed into the tree. According to local media reports, all of the nine persons, aged between 13-17 years old, were travelling in the five-passenger vehicle. Seven of them, three girls and four boys, died on the spot. The two others were taken into local hospitals. Police have not yet confirmed who drove the car and whether the driver was sober. Establishing the identity of victims has not been finished either, though it was confirmed all of the victims were residents of Chelmno municipality.
