Six PKK militants were killed in airstrikes carried out by the Turkish Air Force

Six PKK militants were killed in airstrikes carried out by the Turkish Air Force in Turkey's eastern province of Tunceli late Wednesday, the Turkish military announced.
The operation started after receiving intelligence on the presence of shelters and weaponry, Turkish General Staff said in a statement on Thursday.
During the operation six PKK militants preparing for a terrorist act were killed, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.
Shelters and weapons were also destroyed in the airstrikes, the statement added.
