The overturning of a motorized tricycle in north China's Shanxi Province on Tuesday evening killed six people and injured another 10, local authorities said on Wednesday. The accident happened at about 6 p.m. as the vehicle, carrying 16 people, was coming down a hillside close to Liujiata Village in Shilou County of Lyuliang City, according to the Lyuliang municipal government's publicity department. Five people died at the scene and another died in hospital. They were all workers at an auxiliary project of a transformer station. Overloading and mechanical errors caused the accident, according to initial investigation from the police. The 10 injured workers are in stable, non-life-threatening conditions, said the publicity department.
