Passenger train crashes in Thailand
Bangkok - Arab Today

At least five people were killed and up to 30 were injured when a passenger train crashed into a truck at a railway crossing in Thailand's Phetchaburi province, some 60 kilometers south of Bangkok, Russia Today reported Saturday.

The truck, carrying cattle, crossed the manned railway crossing ignoring the stop sign.

The truck driver died at the scene. The crash caused the locomotive and five wagons to derail, forcing authorities to stop two south-bound trains from Bangkok at the Cha-am railway station.
