4 ships run aground in Istanbul due to storms

Four cargo ships ran aground due to storms in the waters of Turkey's largest city of Istanbul, local media reported on Tuesday. The coast guard reported that four cargo ships ran aground in Istanbul's Kartal district on Tuesday morning as a result of the bad weather, the semi-official Anatolia news agency said. No injuries were reported and the crews of the four ships reached land without requesting any assistance, the coast guard was quoted as saying.
