Four police officers in Vancouver were seriously injured when a woman drove her vehicle into a restaurant, officials said. The incident happened about 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fatburger fast food restaurant, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. The Vancouver Police Department said the woman drove her BMW onto the sidewalk and crashed into the front of the restaurant, striking four uniformed officers with her vehicle. The officers were in serious, but non-life-threatening condition after being transported to a local hospital, police said. "Lets keep them all in our thoughts tonight," official VPD Twitter page read late Sunday. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured but was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Police said they do not believe she was intoxicated at the time of the crash but are investigating all possibilities, including distracted driving.
