The Turkish army killed a total of 20 PKK militants in the southeastern provinces of Hakkari, Mardin and Sirnak on Sunday..
According to Turkish General Staff's statement which was carried by Turkey's Anadolu Agency, seven PKK militants were killed in the Nusaybin district of Mardin province. So far, 200 PKK elements have been killed in Nusaybin.
Seven PKK militants were also killed in Sirnak. The total number of militants killed during the operation in Sirnak so far is 167, reported Anadolu Agency.
Meanwhile in Sirnak, a militant surrendered to Turkish security forces.
In Yuksekova district of Hakkari province, six PKK militants were killed. The toll reached 145 in Yuksekova, and numerous weapons were also seized.
