Investigators in southern California say two registered sex offenders charged with the murder of four women may have killed others. Franc Cano, 27, and Steven Dean Gordon, 45, were arraigned Monday in Orange County. They have been charged with killing Jarrae Nykkole Estepp, whose body was found last month at a trash facility, and three missing women, Kianna Rae Jackson, 20, Martha Anaya, 28, and Josephine Monique Vargas, 34. Investigators said Cano and Gordon, convicted of sexual assaults on children, may have been wearing GPS tracking devices when they killed their alleged victims. All four women had histories of prostitution. Jackson, in fact, disappeared in October shortly after she traveled to Santa Ana for a court hearing on misdemeanor prostitution charges. On Monday, police said they believe Cano and Gordon killed at least one more woman, and investigators were searching for more potential victims.
