Ten people were killed Monday in clashes betweengovernment security forces and communist rebels who attacked a policestation in the southern Philippines, dpa cited the military and police as saying.Two police officers were killed and three injured when about 100guerrillas swooped down on their station in Matanao town in Davao delSur province, 990 kilometres south of Manila, before dawn, policeregional spokesman Chief Inspector Jed Clamor said.Six soldiers were killed and eight wounded when the guerrillasdetonated a landmine as they fled, army Captain William AlfredRodriguez said.
