
At 10 people were killed and 30 others injured in a major road mishap in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh late Sunday evening, a senior police official said Monday. "The mishap happened when a tractor trolley in which they victims were traveling was rammed by a speeding truck from behind near Nasrullahganj in the state's Sehore district. While eight victims were killed on the spot, two others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital where the injured others have been admitted," he said, on condition of anonymity. The truck driver has been arrested, the official said. A probe has been ordered into the incident, he added.
