1 Dead after bus falling

One person has been confirmed dead after a bus carrying 28 passengers fell into a river Thursday morning after collision with a truck in Zhejiang Province, local police said. Traffic police in Yuyao said the 20-seat bus fell into Xiejialu River after a head-on collision with the truck, China's News Agency (Xinhua)reported. The police said three people including the bus driver were injured and are now treated in hospital. The rest on board were safe. The overloaded bus was rented by Yuyao farmers, who were on the way to the provincial capital of Hangzhou for a hospital visit. The accident happened in Simen Township of Yuyao. Firemen involved in the rescue work said that some of the passengers had managed to get out of the bus by themselves.
