The La Liga outfit have been monitoring the Moroccan winger's progress at Getafe, and are expected to make a move this summer. Sources said that Valencia officials held preliminary talks with Barrada's agent last week, and were informed that the 23-year-old has a $20m release clause. Barrada spent four years at French team Paris Saint Germain, before joining Getafe in 2011. A number of eye-catching displays have seen the playmaker attract interest from a whole host of European clubs, including Liverpool and Newcastle. Valencia boss Ernesto Valverde quit the club over the weekend due to their failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
