Coach of Tunisia’s national team Nabil Malool said that Egypt’s national team has better opportunity to win the coming match between the two teams scheduled to be held in June in the framework of the qualifying round for the African Cup of Nations in 2019.
He added, in a statement with “Arabs Today”, that it is difficult to expect the results of such matches, saying, “All games have no big results. Even the CAF Champions League matches between Ahly, and Zamalek on one hand and Tunisian clubs on the other hand have no big results.”
He stressed, “The problem for me or any other coach is that the preparation for the match will be in just 5 days. The match is preceded by matches of CAF Champions League and CAF Cup, the matter that prevents most of our players to join the team’s camp.”
He added that Egypt’s Coach Hector Cuper has a better opportunity to win the match due to the long period he spent with the team, saying that the Argentinian coach managed to develop the performance of his players during the recent African Cup of Nations held in Gabon.
He added that the coach of Egypt’s national team managed to change the performance of the team during the period he spent with them, saying that he succeeded to reach the suitable tactic for the Egyptian team. He described his success to reach to the final match during the recent African Cup of Nations held in Gabon as a big achievement.
He called the Tunisian player Ali Malool of Egypt’s Ahly football team not to return to the Tunisian league, saying that it would be a good opportunity for him to participate with Ahly that participates in different tournaments
