Russian ice dancers Viktoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov are occupying the second place after the rhythm dance at Skate Canada, the second competition in the annual International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating seriers.

The Russian athletes earner 74.66 points for their rhythm dance. The US pair Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue are currently in the lead with 80.49 points. Spain's Olivia Smart and Adria Diaz are in the third place with 72.35 points.

Another Russian pair Anastasia Skoptsova and Kirill Aleshin is in the seventh place with 62.68 points.

The pairs will present their free dance programs on Saturday.
