Rabat - Redouane Mabchour

Maher is happy at AZ Alkmaar Rabat - Redouane Mabchour AZ Alkmaar playmaker Adam Maher says he doesn't want a move to the English Premier League outfit, adding he would rather stay  in the Netherlands. The Moroccan-born Dutchman has been linked with the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham in the past. However, the skilful midfielder has revealed that he would like a move to a bigger Dutch club. "I have already said that I do not want to go [to Arsenal]," Maher told British newspaper Metro. "I want a good stay in the Netherlands, at least another two to three years. Last summer and winter, I indicated I want to go to PSV, but I can also play for Ajax too." The 19-year-old, who played for Holland in their 4-0 victory over Romania in last Tuesday's World Cup qualifier, is yet to decide between Morocco or the Netherlands as his permanent national team. The player himself says he is undecided, but has played for the Netherlands more often than Morocco. New FIFA rules allow players with dual nationality to pick the country they will represent for the rest of their careers at the age of 21. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has been trying to persuade Maher to join the Moroccan team, having lost out on Barcelona's Ibrahim Afellay, Sporting Lisbon defender Khalid Boulahrouz and PSV Eindhoven's Otman Bakkal, all of whom opted for the Netherlands over Morocco.
