Egyptian footballer Omar Jaber of Swiss team Basel stressed that his previous team Zamalek is able to win the league for this season, saying that the tournament has not ended and the team has the opportunity to compete for winning it.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, “I miss Zamalek’s fans. The team will be improved during the coming period. The league has not ended yet and the team is able to win both the league and the cup.”
He stressed, “When I return to Egypt, I will give priority to Zamalek, while I do not aspire to return during the current period. I aspire to remain in Europe for as long as possible.” The Egyptian player warned of what he described as the attempts to destroy the club through promoting the rumors aiming to destabilizing the team during the current critical period.

He stressed his respect to the decisions of his coach, saying, “If the coach asked to play as a goal keeper, I would not mind.”
He added that he aspires to join major teams in Europe during the current period, saying, “I will not assess my experience after only one season. I still have a long time to assess my European experience. I hope to remain in Europe for as long as possible.”
He expressed his frustration for the decision to exclude him from the training camp of Egypt’s national team, while expressed his respect to the decisions of the coach. He promised to exert more efforts during the coming period to ensure his place in the national team during the coming period.
