Mohamed Al Shenawy
Cairo - Khalid Al Etribi

Egyptian goalkeeper Mohamed Al Shenawy, of Egypt’s Ahly Football Team, expressed his resentment over the rumors related to his clash with his colleagues after the latest match against Jordanian Faisali Team in the framework of the Arab Championship.

He said, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that what was published in this regard are unfounded rumors, saying that he has not talked with any of his colleagues after the team’s loss during the latest match. He stressed that such rumors aim to undermine the stability of the team and to challenge them during the coming important match whether in the Egyptian Cup or in the CAF Champions League.

He stressed that such  clashes are not accepted in Al Ahly, saying that the team’s board deals strictly with any attempts to raise division among the players. He stressed that his team is different from any other team in dealing with such issues.

He stressed that the players of the team enjoy strong relations, saying that they exert their efforts to win the championships and to meet the aspirations of their fans in all over the Arab world. He expressed his frustration for the latest loss, saying that the players currently give the priority to the coming important matches in the Egyptian Cup to satisfy their fans.
