Violent acts in Palestinian
Ramallah - Arab Today

Recent violent acts in a camp for Palestinian refugees in Lebanon have been criticized by a member of The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP).

"Any instability serves only the enemies of Palestine who always seek to undermine the interests of the people," Ali Faisal said in a statement.

He said committees have been formed to address the crisis in Ain Helweh camp on the ground.

Meetings will be held with all national and Islamist factions to restore stability in the camp.

Clashes between Jund al-Sham Islamist group and members of Fatah movement occurred earlier this week in the northern part of Ain al-Hilweh camp.

This is Lebanon's largest Palestinian refugee camp near the southern port city of Sidon.
