Ministry of Defense announced the killing of the so-called the military commander of the Tigris arm area and 13 of his aides in airstrike on Nibai area.
A security source in the ministry told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / The Army aircrafts and in coordination with military intelligence, launched air strikes on gatherings for the elements of the Islamic State in the Dhabtiah area affiliated to Nibai district in Salahuddin province, killing what is called the military commander of the Tigris area, who is known Abu Taha, and 9 of the leading figures of the organization in the region, and four specialists in booby-trapped cars".
