Sahrawi Council of Ministers warns against Moroccan manoeuvres

The Sahrawi Council of Ministers warned against the manoeuvres of the Moroccan regime which tries to “push” the neighbouring countries into the spiral of drug and terrorism, said Sunday the Sahrawi news agency SPS.
In a communiqué released following a meeting chaired Sunday by President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and Secretary General of Polisario Front Mohamed Abdelaziz, the Council of ministers underlined the dangers of the Moroccan policy aimed at pushing the neighbouring countries into the spiral of drug “being the world’s largest producer and exporter of cannabis.”
The Council of ministers pointed out that such doings “reflect the Moroccan occupier’s political deadlock towards the international efforts for the decolonization of Africa’s last colony.”
The Council of ministers denounced “the Moroccan attacks on the African Union (AU) and Algeria after the appointment by AU of Joachim Chissano as a special envoy to Western Sahara.”
The Council also expressed its solidarity and support to the Sahrawi people’s peaceful resistance in the occupied territories of Western Sahara, calling for the Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination and independence.
