Israel closes Ibrahimi mosque for Muslim worshipers

The Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday sent a notification to the head custodian in the Ibrahimi Mosque, Hijazi Abu Sneineh, to close the mosque in the West Bank city of Hebron to Muslim worshipers next Thursday and Friday.
Palestinian sources said that Israeli authorities will allow Jewish settlers to violate the sanctity of the mosque during those two days in order to celebrate the so-called "Jewish New Year".
