Iraqi FM called on Iran to stop shelling border areas

Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari called on Iran to stop shelling the border areas of Iraq. In a telephone conversation, Zebari discussed with his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi the bilateral relations and the situation on the Northern Iraqi-Iranian border, Iraqi Foreign Ministry reported. The ministry added Zebari stressed the importance of stopping the indiscriminate artillery shelling in the border areas within Iraq for the interest of good relations prevailing between the two countries and peoples.
